Sunday Morning Worship: Money Makes the World Go 'Round

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

In most churches, there are topics that can never be broached: Sex, for example, or politics. Unitarian Universalists boldly go where most other churches don’t, or won’t, on those “forbidden” topics. But when it comes to money, most UUs cringe (or decide to stay home from church on that day). Today is NOT the pledge drive kickoff, nor the start of any special fundraising initiative. Interim minister Rev. Lisa Romantum Schwartz will explore how we might get more comfortable with money, especially as we remember historical figures like UU Whitney Young.

Join us in person or on Zoom at 10 a.m. for our October Worship Series: Wells We Did Not Dig. Today's sermon title is, "Money Makes the World Go 'Round."

To participate in worship on Zoom, please register here https://zoom.us/.../tJArf-CvrT4iHtIsgktTYAWotY75rmxi5V78. If you've already registered (a one-time process), use the link you received via email to attend worship.
