Sunday Morning Worship: And All the Souls Were Stars

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

All cultures have a way to honor their dearly departed ancestors and express gratitude for their lives. Observing an annual tradition at ORUUC, all are invited to bring photographs or small mementos of their deceased loved ones to decorate the altar for this All Souls service. Interim Minister Rev. Lisa Romantum Schwartz will lead us in this deep and healing service.

Join us in person or on Zoom at 10 a.m. for worship. Our November Worship Series is "Living into Gratitude." This week's theme is, "And All the Souls Were Stars."

To participate in worship on Zoom, please register here https://zoom.us/.../tJArf-CvrT4iHtIsgktTYAWotY75rmxi5V78. If you've already registered (a one-time process), use the link you received via email to attend worship.

This Sunday after worship, Rev. Lisa will be leading an End of Life Planning class during Adult Faith Formation Hour (11:15-12:15) in the Social Hall. Lunch will be provided. Parents: The class is expected to last beyond the hour. If you need childcare, please contact the church office at 865-483-6761. All other Adult Faith Formation classes will be canceled.
