Sunday Morning Worship: GOOD ENOUGH: EMBRACING THE IMPERFECTIONS OF LIFE AND FAITH

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

Join us for our month-long worship series, “Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith.” Rev. Jake Morrill will speak today on “Things Can Be Medicine.”

We can be hooked by the fantasy of fixing, as if every problem had a solution, or every challenge could be neatly solved. But, sometimes, perfection and tidiness isn't what happens. Sometimes, learning to live with it is good enough. And sometimes, that stance of acceptance--of creative acceptance--can yield not a fix, but a form of healing.

Morning worship will be a hybrid experience—join us in person (masks will be required in the building, coffee hour will take place outside under the portico, per the church’s Covid guidelines). If you’d rather participate in worship via Zoom, join here: http://www.oruuc.org/sunday-worship.

All are welcome!
