Sunday Morning Worship: Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

This Sunday, join us in person or on Zoom for our monthly worship series: Good Enough: Embracing the Imperfections of Life and Faith. The sermon title this week is "We Are Fragile." The Rev. Gaye Morris will be leading worship.

When we read the New Testament, we can find many women who showed strength in fragility: from the nameless women who challenged Jesus to help them, opening his eyes to new insights on his ministry, to his close friends and disciples, like Mary Magdalene, Mary and Martha, who stood by Jesus when others deserted him. These women were ‘good enough’ – imperfect but authentic, and able to add something valuable to our understanding of Jesus.

This Sunday morning, we welcome you into our Sanctuary for in-person worship at 10 a.m. The service will also be streamed live on Zoom for those who wish to participate from home or wherever you may be.
