Sunday Morning Worship: What Lies Downstream?

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

This Sunday, join us in person or on Zoom at 10 a.m. for morning worship. The sermon title is, "What Lies Downstream?"

It’s done. We’ve said our goodbyes. Now what? Join us this Sunday as Christy White shares an aquatic tale of anxiety and fear of the unknown.

On this final Sunday in June, we will be performing the "Release of Call" ritual. Lead Minister Rev. Jake Morrill is leaving ORUUC after 19 years of ministry with us; he's stepping away to spend more time with family, and to focus on writing, organizational coaching, and life. Rev. Tandy Scheffler, our minister of Care and Connection, is retiring after 25 years with ORUUC.

Adult Faith Formation classes take place Sunday mornings from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15. p.m. To find out more about our classes, visit our website: http://www.oruuc.org/religious-education and http://www.oruuc.org/faith-formation-for-adults.

Please note: Youth Faith Formation will be on summer break until July 31. Nursery care will still be provided during the worship service; children who remain in the service will go outside to play and have popsicles following the Story for All Ages.
