Sunday Morning Worship: Lessons from Trees

  • Oak Ridge Unitiarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

Trees share the land with us -- they even share genetic material with us. But they are such quiet companions it takes some intention to hear the lessons they teach us about vulnerability, resilience, and staying connected. On the eve of Spring Equinox Rev. Lisa Romantum Schwartz will find inspiration in the high branches and deep roots of trees.

Join us this Sunday morning for our March worship series: "Strength in Vulnerability." Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom. To participate in worship on Zoom, please register here https://zoom.us/.../tJArf-CvrT4iHtIsgktTYAWotY75rmxi5V78. If you've already registered (a one-time process), use the link you received via email to attend worship.

After worship, check out our classes for Adults during Faith Formation Hour from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Parents: While Oak Ridge Schools are on Spring Break, Youth Faith Formation classes will not meet this Sunday, March 19 to allow our leaders a well deserved break, too. We will instead have a Creation Station in the Social Hall, a multi-age Faith Formation Hour for children and their families. Nursery will still be available this Sunday.

Please note: Masks will NOT be required in the building this week, but we encourage everyone to do what makes them feel comfortable. (If Covid-19 Community Levels for Anderson or surrounding counties are High, masks will be required.)

All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
