Sunday Morning Worship: It Takes Everybody

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

On Sunday, Oct. 13, join us for our October worship series, Deep Listening. Our Stewardship Team will lead the service themed, "It Takes Everybody."

Merriam-Webster defines Stewardship as the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care. Before we attend our Annual Activities Fair during second hour, let's imagine, inspire and talk with each other about how we can ALL work together to create Beloved Community at ORUUC.

Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom. For those attending worship by Zoom, please install the Zoom app on your device and use Zoom Worship Service Meeting ID: 946 8973 5846.

Our Split-the-Plate offering recipient for the month of October will go toward Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Please GIVE HERE as you are willing and able, or text “ORUUC” to 73256.

This morning after worship, spend some time celebrating all that ORUUC has to offer at our annual Activities Fair! Our Shared and Essential Function Ministry Groups--everything from Tai Chi to Stone Soup and the Rummage Team--will have tables set up in the Social Hall for you to chat with members and find out what might be a good fit for YOU!

Youth Faith Formation classes will meet from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The nursery will be available during worship and the Faith Formation hour. Check out our regular Faith Formation opportunities for adults here: http://www.oruuc.org/faith-formation-for-adults and children and youth here: http://www.oruuc.org/religious-education.

Covid-19 Update: Masks are not required in the building; whether joining us for worship in person or on Zoom, we encourage everyone to do what makes them feel comfortable.

All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
