This Sunday, join us for our November worship series, Repair. Our minister, Lóre Stevens, will lead worship. Her sermon is entitled, “Repair, Renew.”
No matter how the U.S. election goes, our nation will be exhausted by months of anger, fear, and anxiety. Let us gather to focus on repairing our weary hearts, our strained relationships, and our wounded nation. Let’s focus on moving forward together, aligned with our highest values.
Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom. For those attending worship by Zoom, please install the Zoom app on your device and use Zoom Worship Service Meeting ID: 946 8973 5846.
Our Split-the-Plate offering recipient for the month of November will go to our Stone Soup community ministry, a monthly free meal ORUUC hosts, in partnership with the Jewish Congregation of Oak Ridge and Kroger Marketplace. Please GIVE HERE as you are willing and able, or text “ORUUC” to 73256.
After worship, join us for coffee and conversation in the Social Hall. Youth and Adult Faith Formation classes will meet from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The nursery will be available during worship and the Faith Formation hour. Lóre will host her monthly “Meet the Minister” gathering in the Sanctuary. All are welcome, especially ORUUC newcomers. If you have questions about Lóre, ORUUC, Unitarian Universalism, or spirituality in general, stick around after worship! Covid-19 Update: Masks are not required in the building; whether joining us for worship in person or on Zoom, we encourage everyone to do what makes them feel comfortable.
All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
