Sunday Morning Worship: Hugs n' Quiches and Liberating Love

  • Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike Oak Ridge, TN, 37830 United States (map)

The UUA is in the midst of a deep dive into our core identity. The planned exploration of how to revise the Seven Principles has evolved into a proposal to replace the principles altogether, and center our faith in transformative love. What would that look like? Interim Minister Rev. Lisa Romantum Schwartz will explore the new proposal, and then we'll gather for a potluck lunch and an opportunity to listen and learn.

Join us this Sunday morning for our February worship series, "Centered in Love." Worship begins at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom.

To participate in worship on Zoom, please register here https://zoom.us/.../tJArf-CvrT4iHtIsgktTYAWotY75rmxi5V78. If you've already registered (a one-time process), use the link you received via email to attend worship.

After worship, join us for a potluck lunch in the Social Hall. Please bring a quiche or frittata to share. Salad, vegan/gluten free soup, cookies, and drinks will be provided. Children will work on crafts after lunch while adults participate in a discussion led by Rev. Lisa. Childcare will be available for ages 5 and under for the entire event. All regular Faith Formation classes will be canceled.

Please note: Masks will NOT be required in the building this week, but we encourage everyone to do what makes them feel comfortable. (If Covid-19 Community Levels for Anderson or surrounding counties are High, masks will be required.)

All are welcome! We look forward to seeing you!
